The intent of the base plugin is to provide core functionality that is used by all of the RCPApps. This plugin intentionally contains no user-interface code to allow headless (i.e. with no windowing system present) operation. All plugins will directly or indirectly depend on this plugin, which in turn depends on the core Eclipse packages.
